September 28th, 2008 — Multiple Streams of Income
In today’s global, social, and economic climate, we are bombarded with thousands of options. How should we discipline our children? What religion is right for us? Are we going to work for someone else or become an entrepreneur? Many of our choices are made subconsciously with little thought and some of our choices come from hours of contemplation and reflection.
We have all made decisions that affect our lives. Ponder this for a moment, every choice you make affects your life and the lives of those closest to you! For example; many of us work well over 40 hours a week, this is a choice that affects us on an individual level and this also affects our friends and family. This is a choice that we easily rationalize by saying that we need to buy food, pay our rent/mortgage, and support our families. All of these excuses are good reasons and I certainly believe them to be true. But, it has probably been a dog’s age since you last considered the down side of spending so much time at work.
Our children are falling woefully behind at school, they tend to suffer from low self-esteem (eating disorders, becoming bullies, or being bullied), our children and peers are being diagnosed and medicated at an alarming rate, and let us not speak of the ever increasing prison population. These things are evidence of a overwhelmed and over worked society.
The power to choose can off set these social ills. We can choose to reduce our hours at work, we can choose to spend more time with our children, we can become political and help our fellow man, but we do not choose to do so because we need to provide for ourselves and our families.
You can choose to spend more time with your children! You can choose to spend more time with your spouse and loved ones, You can choose to take your life back. We all have difficult choices to make. Choose yourself, choose your family, choose to be a good citizen, and choose to work for yourself. Be the master of your own time and finances. The world needs you to succeed, through the power to choose we can have everything we desire.

Learn how to use radio to reach markets to advertise your MLM opportunity.
by Abe Cherian
Contributing Author
Radio Advertising- Get sales through Immediate Response
In America, 290 million people own more than 300 million radios! Only radio can take your advertising message to people while they ride bicycles, walk in the park, ride in cars or climb mountains. Radio brings a sense of urgency to its listeners that is second to none.
Contrary to the predictions of doom during the advent of television, radio is alive and well today, and radio advertising is a major part of the plan for advertisers of every size and description.
In its pre-television days, radio was the national advertisers’ most economical way to communicate with millions at a time. Syndicated programs of music, drama and news were a common part of the American life-style. With the advent of television, radio moved to the automobile and the beach.
Along came the transistor and radio moved to the shirt pocket. Today radio is every where. Millions awake to the sound of clock radios, and for many the radio is the last sound they hear before going to sleep. How can a small business use this sound-only medium for effective advertising? Only by understanding it and capitalizing on its strengths.
Today’s radio station is judged on its effectiveness not only by the number of its listeners, but also who those listeners are. Many of today’s stations have positioned themselves to reach a selective audience instead of a total market.
In one marketplace, one station may play only country-western music, another rock music, a third only religious music, while others feature 24-hour news broadcasts or talk shows.
As an advertiser, format programming allows you to buy advertising on stations whose listener characteristics most closely coincide with the profile of your firm’s customers.
Buying time on a given station also can help you reach audience segments that you may want to target to help expand your firm’s total market segment thus enhancing your direct response method of marketing.
Radio advertising is sold on the basis of time. That time can vary from an entire program, which includes your commercial announcements, top spot announcements ranging from 10 to 60 seconds.
Price ranges are higher during drive time (the hours in the morning and evening when the maximum number of people are in their cars going to or from work, school or other daytime activities) and lower during the time when more people are watching television.
Most stations offer package rate plans with a specified number of commercials guaranteed within a particular time slot. Also, consider buying flights of commercials, i.e., an intense saturation of 30-second or 1-minute spots in a relatively short period of two or three weeks. Repeat this flight technique during key promotional times of the year.
The sounds you can employ on radio include not only the monologue of a man’s or woman’s voice, but dialogue and dramatic conversations, vocal and instrumental music, and sound effects of every imaginable nature, used individually or in combinations.
The size of radio’s audience, like the circulation of newspapers, is audited by independent organizations and available to advertisers through station sales representatives. Arbitron, one of the auditing firms, conducts its survey by having a sample number of households keeping a written diary of the radio listening habits of each occupant during a pre-determined period (usually one week).
Arbitron then summarizes the various stations’ listeners by time of day in 15-minute segments by sex and age of listener. An advertiser can use the Arbitron data to select the station or stations that best cover the desired target audience.
Radio advertising frequency is as high as you can afford. Many stations now broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The number of commercial minutes any station can air in each segment of programming is limited by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), but there is still the opportunity to have a message repeated frequently in any given period. It is also possible to have the radio station come to your business for a remote broadcast with customer interviews, prize giveaways and other crowd-drawing techniques.

Stomping the Search Engines 2.0
When I ordered my free month of The Net Effect (which comes with the STSE2 product free) the above was not included. But the good news is those that have already ordered will still get all that top training too. But, this offer is ending soon.
I actually chose to buy a couple extra products the guys as Stompernet offered as one time promotions. I didn’t pass them up… maybe I’m a sucker, oh well.
I have not yet received any product, so I can’t really comment about the content… but hey, even if all that free stuff sits on my desk collecting dust, it is free, provided I can remember to cancel before the recurring billing cycle begins.
Who knows, The Net Effect may be worth the subscription fee. I’m sure the information covered will contribute somehow to my abilities to market online even though I’m starting to suffer from information overload.

Because the Noble Samurai team wants to look after us, and we are getting in ahead of the official launch of the final Market Samurai features, we get Market Samurai for just $69.

Go here to check out all the tool currently offers. I will be placing my order right now. First sign up with the 30DC within the next 24 hours here. Then get your copy of Market Samurai for the very low cost of $69.

PS I am in no way affiliated with the Nobel Samurai team and have nothing to benefit from providing this info. Just trying to share the savings. If you end up missing this opportunity to get the tool with the 30DC discount, its still very worth the normal rate and you should still take a look at it.

August 19th, 2008 — Video
I do not yet have video working for me driving traffic to my blog, do you?
It’s been on my mind, in front of my eyeballs continually, and I know how viral it can be, especially if you’re Mr./Ms. personality and have a knack for being funny.
I catch that humor virus quite often and follow stupid, silly videos and share them with friends through Facebook and other social sites.
“Funny” has the potential to spread fast on YouTube and other social video upload sites… we all enjoy a good laugh, it just feels good - like eating spicy food! Anyone else out there addicted to New Mexico Green Chile? Ahh, the endorphin release!
BUT, you don’t have to be funny, just sincere and know what you’re talking about and video can/will do wonders for whatever it is your providing.
Anyway…
While doing some early morning surfing (not the beach kind), “surf” dude Moffatt sends a tweet out with a link to a YouTube video that’s pitching his stuff in a very “Española” kind of way. If you don’t know what I mean, you didn’t grow up in NM, but it made me laugh out loud a couple times. It was pretty cool, and I was somewhat envious of the idea. I wish I had thought of that, and that I had the streamlined knowledge to make it work successfully without a lot of guesswork.
So, I clicked on through to the actual sales page, which started off with a video of course, showing a 10am beer drinking Mofo doing his thing on stage… and I was actually entertained while learning some potentially valuable tips on YouTube marketing-“ninja style.”
And so….
I follow this tweet and end up spending half the day viewing his video and checking out all the info Jason has on his sales pages. Ack! Another chunk of time spent doing something other than what I need to be doing. Guess I need to watch some more Eben Pagen videos and get in the habit of an organized routine, with minimal distractions. Twitter has become a new distraction, but very valuable info comes across the internet waves through it. Well at least I have a blog post out of it.
My conclusion: I intend to eventually (soon) start doing the video stuff. I know I can wing it, but I think now after reaching MoFo’s Easy Video Sales product I can say his info sure would be nice to know. It looks like cutting edge stuff, all how-to stuff that will teach me and you all you need to know to start benefiting from marketing with video.
Check his stuff out for yourself if you want. I don’t need to pitch it, just go to the video page here:

… and watch the new “drunken master”… Jackie Chan watch out! Ok, that probably wasn’t even funny.
Just so you know, Jason offers a 100% no questions asked money back guarantee.

August 17th, 2008 — Internet Marketing
Hey folks, I just want to share some information I just came across… actually was sent to me, or should I say it was tweeted to me? Well, it was tweeted to the world of followers not to me personally, but I was paying attention.
Anyway… thanks to Twitter I follow people which I find often become a source of good information… well they should be, that’s why I started following them in the first place.
Take for instance, Jason Moffat of JasonMoffat.com.
The three tips I am about to post here are taken directly from his information sharing. He said he learned these valuable tips through his friendship with Frank Kearn of MassControl fame.
Ok so here are the three tips that could help you with your internet marketing strategies and make more money.
El numero uno: Never focus on negative stuff!
Basically focusing on the negative aspects of things can drag you down and impede your ability to produce positive results. You should make every effort to turn the negative into positive.
So… I know I have suffered from having a complaining kind of mentality for a long time. It’s partly the born critic in me I guess, but I have lately come to the conclusion that nothing much ever comes as a result of my complaining about stuff. I needed to change my view of things and start taking and active role in making a positive situation out of a negative one and stop all the complaining. Complaining usually results in just that… more sitting on your butt and complaining, not taking action, which is what we all need to be doing.
nuf said on numero uno.
#2 : “Proof, Big Claims, & Self Depreciation: “In this day and age there is so much BS on the internet it’s tough to tell who’s the real deal.” - Moffat.
Daily I research and read lots and lots of stuff on the internet related to creating a successful internet business through all kinds of marketing strategies. To tell you the truth, I have only been researching a few months and I can’t always tell which ones are legit and worth my time. I try to do my due diligence before spending any cash on the ones that promise the most bang for my buck, and seem the most appealing to me. The ones that promise a whole lot but don’t back it up with hard proof are not going to get my attention let alone money.
Just about daily I come across at least a few hyped up sales sites offering to teach me how to make tons of money online that are just so BS sounding that I don’t trust them and look for something else. They don’t produce any proof of their claims, like a screenshot of their earnings and income for a period of time. Believability is hugely important!
Sometimes you have to weed through a lot of BS to find the good stuff. I continue to search because I know I can find a down to earth honest approach to marketing online. I just skip all the ones out there that sound so full of you know what and move on. If proof is not given in the pitch then it’s all BS as far as I’m concerned.
#3 : Write and converse with people like they are your best pals:
Myself, I find the more “sales sounding” impersonal approach to be a big turn off. I think we all recognize the value, if not on the surface, in our subconscious of communication that is personal and friendly where we feel a connection to the person offering some service or product, like they are our friend and are speaking to us directly. Friends and family can have a great influence on us because of close ties we share. That’s why most MLMs out there always tell you to start pitching your offer to your friends and family first, you have an established relationship with them to work from.
Video is so effective for online marketing right now and probably always will continue to be. We all can tell from watching someone whether they are full of it or not when they put the camera on themselves. “Ghetto” video is great because it is so real and personal.
For me, the more conversational, personal, “real to life” a person selling something is, the more I can relate to them AND the more apt I am to actually listen to what they have to say. If it’s just a sales pitch from start to finish with no discernible personality, I’m not likely to care.
Ok, that it. The three tips for better results with marketing a product or service to your prospects. Say no to negative, big claims without proof, and to the overly “salesish”(-not a word?) approach.
Matthew
PS Feel free to give me some feed back and let me know if you liked this post… good or bad I’m still going to make it into a positive
Thanks.

August 8th, 2008 — MLM Success
The MLM Succes Blog is part of an ongoing experiment in testing a niche market and an attempt at obtaining a first page ranking on Google for the keyword “MLM Success.” I say an attempt due to the fact that I have a lot to learn still, being relatively new to network marketing, inernet marketing and MLM in general.
Up until a few months ago I was primarily focusing on developing my web designing skills and researching all things related to success in that field. Some friends of mine who knew I was working on developing my design chops approached me requesting help with a site design for the specific MLM business they had recently become members in.
After checking out the product from the particular MLM company and doing some due dilligence, I decied this whole MLM business model was worth persuing and I decided to partner with them in the same MLM. That is when I started researching all things internet marketing.
Of the materials I have come accross online promoting mlm success training I just wanted to mention one of the products now I have found valuable. It is helping me to gain confidence with effective communication with potential prospects and how to establish myself as a leader.
The product I am reffering to is by Mike Dillard of BetterNetworker.com (Magnetic Sponsoring) called Black Belt Recruting.
I believe that Mike offers some valuable how-to prospecting information in this series. It contains the “nuts and bolts” knowledge to help you make the most out of prospects interested in your business. These are needed skills when reaching for your own MLM Success.
Check out the 60min training video below for more information.
